Agri-Food Education × Jiangjunshan Experience|Bridging the Distance Between Us and the Land

We are about to embark on a journey to Jiangjunshan Farm—a heartfelt encounter with nature through the lens of agri-food education. There, the air carries the subtle fragrance of soil and fruit trees, mingled with the laughter of children and the warmth of sunlight dancing in the breeze, all waiting to be experienced firsthand.

On this day, textbooks will be gently set aside. In their place: hands in the soil, eyes meeting those of animals, footsteps tracing the rhythm of the land. This is what agri-food education is truly about—immersing ourselves in the journey from farm to table, witnessing each step with our own eyes and hands. Through experience, we learn to appreciate, to choose wisely, and to live more consciously.

More than a learning experience, this is a step toward sustainability. With every action, we echo the call of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
  1. Supporting local agriculture and food security (SDG 2)
  2. Promoting responsible consumption and production (SDG 12)
  3. Preserving terrestrial ecosystems and biodiversity (SDG 15)
There will be no exams, no worksheets that day—only meaningful discoveries. We will rediscover the origin of food, understand the cycle of life, and feel the quiet wisdom of living in harmony with nature.
This will be a lesson written not on paper, but in the earth—a journey of shared labor and joy, as families come together, grow closer, and deepen their respect for the land beneath their feet.

Learning has never been confined to the pages of a book. In this “hands-on lesson,” we look forward to co-creating memories that will last a lifetime.
