Project-Based Learning

Independent Project Course | Global Issues Exploration

Starting from critical questions — connecting learning to the world.

At Boundless Learning, our Independent Project Course is built on Project-Based Learning (PBL), guiding students to explore global issues based on their own interests. We encourage students to engage in research, discussion, hands-on practice, and action, developing critical thinking and interdisciplinary problem-solving skills. Students are empowered to transform their learning outcomes into impactful research reports, action plans, or innovative proposals.

Possible Topics to Explore (Students can freely choose and expand)

Fashion & Sustainability: The environmental impact of fast fashion, circular economy, and green design.
Sports & Society: Sports and gender equality, racial issues, and how sports can drive social change.
Politics & Civic Engagement: Democracy and youth activism, politics and media, election systems analysis.
Race & Culture: Global ethnic conflicts, cultural diversity and identity, challenges of justice and fairness.
Environment & Climate Change: Global warming, extreme weather events, carbon reduction actions, and policy advocacy.

Learning Approach

Problem-Oriented — Tackling real-world issues to cultivate critical thinking and problem-awareness.
Independent Research — Developing solid research skills through data collection, interviews, and fieldwork.
Interdisciplinary Integration — Merging knowledge from science, humanities, society, arts, and more for a comprehensive understanding.
Action & Presentation — Transforming learning into real-world impact through presentations, video production, and advocacy projects.

We believe learning should not be confined to textbooks but should be a bridge to the world. Through our Independent Project Course, every student can discover their passion and become a changemaker who makes a real difference!
