We are dedicated to creating a friendly, internationally-oriented environment filled with respect, appreciation, love, and care. This cultivates students' coutesy, compassion, creativity, curiosity, and confidence. At the same time, we advocate for cultural diversity and inclusion, supporting balanced social, emotional, and character development. Our mission is to foster students' self-discipline, autonomy, and self-learning, inspiring them to think independently and adopt an active learning and engagement attitude. This helps mold them into knowledgeable, empathetic, and responsible global citizens.

Experimental Education

Experimental Education, also known as alternative or innovative education, differs from traditional educational systems. It allows institutions, teachers, parents, or students to pursue teaching and learning methods distinct from conventional schooling. The goal is to explore new educational methodologies, curriculum designs, and learning models to promote diverse and personalized learning.

Jenaplan Education and Philosophy

Jenaplan education respects individuals as unique beings with the right to self-development. Through relationships, materials, society, culture, and spirituality, students achieve self-actualization with dignity and value.
Our institution integrates Jenaplan principles by designing curricula that draw from children's lived experiences, inner reflections, and societal culture. Teaching is infused with educational contexts, emphasizing "dialogue, play, work, and celebration" in rhythmic alternation to shape the teaching-learning process.
Concept of Community Life
Community life is central to Jenaplan philosophy, emphasizing the importance of working and living together. It fosters collaboration and shared experiences, helping students develop a sense of belonging and mutual respect.
Mixed-Age Learning
In mixed-age learning groups, members have varied maturity levels, knowledge achievements, interests, and social backgrounds. These diverse social stimuli provide valuable learning opportunities, enhancing the educational benefits of heterogeneity.
The Four Pillars: Dialogue, Play, Work, Celebration
Jenaplan's educational foundation revolves around four main activities: dialogue, play, work, and celebration. These elements are interwoven into daily teaching activities, forming a rhythmic weekly work plan.
Dialogue
Teachers and students form circles for meaningful exchanges, fostering learning through communication, shared experiences, values, and ideas. Activities include morning meetings, group discussions, topic presentations, and school affairs discussions.
Play
Play is fundamental in Jenaplan education, supporting children’s innate love of play and their initial learning form. Through play, children develop social interaction and intrinsic motivation. Activities integrate playful learning, emphasizing creativity and self-expression.
Work
We break away from traditional learning models by guiding students to treat projects—such as project-based courses, science mini-research, group tasks, assignments, reading reflections, events preparation, and presentations—as their own work plans. Through teacher guidance and peer discussions, students gradually complete their tasks and develop independence and responsibility in learning.
Celebration
Celebration is a remarkable feature in our institution, blending seamlessly with other activities. Events like birthdays, welcome parties, and learning showcases use singing, drama, dance, and storytelling to add joy and create memorable moments.
